Default A stylus for my Hacker GP15 Record Player?

Hi all,

I’ve got this hacker Gp15 which I’m doing up for myself. The stylus on it was unfortunately bent, so I’m on the lookout for a replacement. Here’s a couple pictures of the cartridge, could someone identify what the right stylus might be for this? I’m not at all an expert on these things so help would be appreciated to point me in the right direction!

Thanks

Morning Ed, you're up early!

The cartridge might not be the original so undo the screw holding it to the tonearm and post some pics and someone will recognise it.

Some cartridges even have an ID stamped or printed on the side that attaches to the tonearm.

Hope this helps.

I’m a night owl!

Thanks Ken,

I will post a picture and have a closer look once I’m back home. I’ll be away for the week so will update this thread when I get a chance to look once I’m back.

Ed

To clarify, no need to unscrew the small one in the tone arm head itself, but unscrew the Bayonet Cap fitting holding the head to the tone arm. Photo the cartridge from the underside.

I don't think you even have to get your screwdriver out, as the headshell can be detached by unscrewing the silver knurled collar.

Hello everyone,

Here’s some photos of the Cart. As mentioned I removed the old stylus as it was bent.

Hopefully the cartridge cab be identified so I can order a new stylus!
