Hello Derek

If the R103 Mk1 is similar, the info on the VMARS site may help.
The 2nd document indicates 465Khz as the I.F.

R109 Mk1 at

Thanks Pete, 465khz seems OK, its nearer 500khz at the moment. The radio on the site is a mk1 and it's nothing like the A. Still wondering who MRO were. After almost a day reforming, its running a treat. May leave alignment for another day. Thanks again everyone

The IF of the A version is 465 kHz, same as the plain 103.

Don't know who MRO is but the R103 was made by Masterradio Ltd. Perhaps that is the 3 letter code for same.
