Default Philips AG9125

Hi all, bought this Philips record player recently, having done some minor work, it's working pretty Ok but missing the spindle, and the Idler wheel has a slight dent in it, I'd say it was left in play mode and up against the motor drive. Had to do a makeshift mat as the original mat was warped and gone brittle. Finding it hard to get any kind of info on this player, any help would be appreciated.

Hi And welcome to the forum.

It looks as if it's in Radiomuseum.

Elektrotanya have the manual for it here :

https://elektrotanya.com/philips_ag9125w-00-60_portable_ster...cord_player_sm_sm.pdf/download.html

You will probably also want the AG1025 manual

https://elektrotanya.com/philips_ag1025-00-60_changing_record_player_sm.pdf/download.html

which is the autochanger unit in this player.

Alas the manuals aren't in English but the circuit diagrams and exploded views are the same in any language

AG1025 deck. I have one in a mid sixties radiogram. The controls will likely be a bit sticky due to old grease on the mechanism. The same spindle is used in many Philips decks of this era so hopefully one will turn up.

Grundig did a version of this one too.
