Default More information required - vintage Ruco-Gram

Hello
New to site and interested if anyone can give me more information about this record player - It is a Rucogram serial number 24112 with a beautiful green "snakeskin" finish and fitted with a BSR 4 speed autochanger.

Yes, a great sounding, yet little known, record player. Highly recommended - and if required this will play loud! Better than most Dansettes. Yours comes from 1961/1962, but no later. We were agents for them. Don't use it on Stereo LPs though, until you change the cartridge. Fine on on Mono LPs as is. A super find.

It appears to have a replacement autochanger. What does the internal label say?

Well, you could be right - the BSR UA14 autochanger is quite late for this model. It may originally had a Collaro unit.

Thanks for the information - It belonged to an Aunt of my wife who sadly died last year.
