Hex editor for Windows?
Related to a vintage project thread here, can anyone recommend a tried and trusted Hex loader / saver / editor for recent versions of Windows?
At the moment I'm using Ghex (On a Linux PC) but would be interested to know if there's anything similar for Windows. The ability to load / save in several hex file formats including raw, Intel Hex and Motorola 'S' would be useful. All my other PC hex editors are built into Eprom programmer support software, are primarily DOS programs due to the age of the associated programmers and will usually only run in a limited 'demo' mode if the programmer itself is not connected. |

Re: Hex editor for Windows?
Thanks, looks perfect, but officially only goes up to Win7. Have you tried running it under Win 8 - Win10?

Another vote for HxD. Runs fine on Windows 10.
