PHILIPS Cassette Recorder EL3302 Microphone Identification
Bought a super PHILIPS EL3302 and got it all working fine with the usual messy job of belt replacement. The accompanying mic I'm not familiar with so wonder if the original. The machine dates 1967 but the microphone looks later. Wonder if you guys have any thoughts on this.

Re: PHILIPS Cassette Recorder EL3302 Microphone Identification
It's identical with the one that came with the EL3302 I bought in the summer of 1969. A friend who bought one in I think 1968 had a mic with a detachable On/Off switch. One I got for my cousin in the early 1970's had a rectangular cranked body with integral On/Off switch.

Re: PHILIPS Cassette Recorder EL3302 Microphone Identification
The model number is embossed at the bottom of the mike, where the cable enters.
It's likely to be an N8206 from the late 60's through to mid 70's and was available in black/chrome or silver/chrome. The silver/chrome one can be viewed here: https://picclick.co.uk/Vintage-Phili...438698400.html And a black/chrome but one with a white switch (instead of a black one)can be seen here: http://www.worthpoint.com/worthopedi...ette-270772472
