Default Problem with Kyoritsu VTVM

I am having problems aligning my Kyoritsu VTVM, the needle gives different readings whether it moves in from below or above.
Please have a look at the video I have recorded: https://youtu.be/kLEjku2t_C0
Later on I superimposed some low frequency (0.02Hz) AC to the 75 V DC and found out, that the meter does not follow signal changes beyond +/-5V.
Is there probably friction in the meter, and what could I do about it?

I have an identical meter. I will have a fiddle later and see what mine does. It is a SUPERB bench meter, and what I normally use as my VTVM. I have a 410B is I need anything really fancy.

General bench work is done by my Avo 8.

After I started to suspect that friction was the cause for the meter problem, I have been able to fix it.
I removed the meter cover and slightly reduced the pressure on the needle bearing by adjusting the center screw.
Now it is adjustible spot-on
