Capacitors
We all know about the Mullard 'mustard' capacitors, which seem to have a very good reputation for reliability.
During a bit of a sort-out I've come across a bag of what look to be the same type, but a dull bluey-green colour. Does anybody know who made these, are they as good as the mustard type? Andy |

Re: Capacitors
Somewhere in the back of my mind it says Siemens. I may be wrong.
Mustard caps are perfectly ordinary polyester caps. For some reason they have attracted a mystique and the corresponding prices. |

Re: Capacitors
Were they not the values between the more common ones.
Something like a higher tolerance range? |
