Valve Help
I have obtained a French radio from the early 1930s which runs off batteries
it has what I presume are 4 pin European valves running off an LT of 4V one valve in particular has no continuity and I need to replace it - I am having trouble identifying a suitable replacement the valve is marked ONYX on the side and on the top Philips A409 can anybody guide me in the right direction regards Dick |

Re: Valve Help
A PM3 might be used, maybe with attention to grid bias.
What's the set? Have you any circuit details?

Re: Valve Help
Or you could use a 2V valve and a series resistor. Is it the detector?
