Exclamation Phillips AG8001

I'm looking for information on the Phillips AG8001 Reel to Reel tape player. We have one that is part of a unit and it isn't working properly, the manual is in dutch so we have no idea what is what. Any info would be appreceated.

Hmm, I can't find a reference to this model in all my Philips manuals. Plenty start AG81xx, but not 80xx.

Is it one of the units they fitted into some of their radiograms with the single rottary transport control at the back of the deck?

Red face Re: Phillips AG8001

By the way, why did Philips use AG-XXXX and EL-XXXX on their models.
I have a AG8109 (1957) and it seems to be identical with EL3517 (1954), just wondering....
Regards
Nisse
