Re: Sony TC270
Hi Scotty 29, just put a "2S" in front of your transistor number, the Japs used to leave this off for some inscrutible reason

Re: Sony TC270
Hi,
A bit more info; 'C1364' is a device numbered with the JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) code; the '2S' bit being missed off on most devices you'll encounter. Details on decoding this, Pro-Electron and JEDEC appears here: http://www.engplanet.com/content/transistormarking.html Towers lists possible equivalents for the 2SC1364 as being BC182L and 2N3859A though it may be wise to check the specification and pin-out before making a substitution (I can provide this if needed) Kat |

Re: Sony TC270
I have fitted a BC182L same pinout ( which I have plenty in stock ) amp now working, but have now got to find a 2K slide pot (volume control ) which is a bit dodgy.
Thanks for all your help Scotty29 |
