I don't recognise it, but it looks as if it's been got at over the years.

Belmont was an American manufacturer who also built sets in the UK under license.

https://www.radiomuseum.org/m/belmont_gb_en_1.html

I have a couple of Belmont sets neither like this one.

Pauls right IMHO changes have been made to this set in attempt to modernise it or just to repace missing parts. That chrome thing in the speaker grill looks particularly out of place.

Just seen Stephens link yes that chrome thing in the speaker doesn't belong.

looks interesting but unfortunately rareity doesnt mean value.

I would think in the order of £30 but that just my opinion

Cheers

If it's only a 4-valver, well don't expect much in the way of performance, specially on shortwave.

It looks to me very much like what my late mother would describe as an "all furs and no knickers" radio - styled to look impressive (so commanding a high sale price) but not really delivering.

An old Ebay entry reads "New listing vintage Belmont 570 valve radio. Pre-owned. £27.00; 2 bids; + £26.30 postage".
