Philips "cheated" with DTF ;-)

Over all VCC (Video 2000) arguably was the best system over all. Raw quality was better with their previous VCR system, though.

Which VCR system do you mean ?
The very first one with tapes lasting less than one hour, or the second one (N1700) or the SVR sysytem from Grundig with tapes lasting up to 5 hours ?

I think VCR (N1500) had a slightly better video bandwidth than VCR-LP (N1700) but both were better than VHS as far as I know.
