Default Volume control (5k log) c/w double pole switch

Hi. Does anyone have a 5k ohm log volume control c/w double pole switch for a Bush TR130 transistor radio, please? It is the same kind of control that was used in the Bush TR82 series with the thumbwheel operation on the top, except mine has another plastic gearing inside the radio because of the way that the control is mounted. I placed an advert for this before, but nobody understood what I required. The track is damaged, and can not be cleaned. The associated capacitor is not faulty.
Many thanks
Mike

A picture would help and dimensions. A lot of us aren't familiar with radios but have a stash of parts.

Andy.

It's a Plessey 5k log 'moulded track' pot with DP switch. Quarter inch shaft with standard flat.

It would need to be new/old stock as for many years shafts have been 6mm and as the knob is push-on, rather than secured with a grub screw. Hence, 6mm would be slack, though maybe you could add some thin tape to the shaft, which would be a bit of a bodge.

If nothing else crops up, the ones at the link below (from a long-standing business seller) are new old stock British made 4.7K log with double pole switch with 1/4" plastic shafts. You'd need to cut the shaft to length and file a flat to suit the knob, which wouldn't pose much of a challenge:

Hope that might help.

Good luck in your quest Mike.

Hi all.
I have 3 x 5k Ohm double pole logs Mike if you want them FOC?
Not the same as in the picture Ron posted but should do the Job?
They are old unused stock and I'm sure they will work.
I am in Beeston, Leeds, so not a million miles away for you to collect?
Unless you want me to ship them at cost of postage?.
PM your interest.
Hope this helps.
Gaz.

Hi Mike, If you're still stuck i have a load of TR82s and TR130s that would possibly have a decent one if all else fails.

Cheers
Neil.

Hi Gaz. That offer sounds great. Can I come around to have a look before I confirm it with Ron, please?
Cheers

Hi Neil. Please could you send me a private message about your switched volume controls for a Bush TR130, how much you would want for a decent control? I am also after a pointer for the dial as mine broke.
Cheers
Mike
