Default Quad 34 moving coil disc input module.

As per the title, I'm looking to change my current cartridge, a Goldring 1022 moving magnet, to a slightly more exotic moving coil (make and model to be confirmed).

I'd appreciate any help locating one of these, it's not so long ago that I saw loads of them on eBay but nothing now!

Your price paid.

On the (slim) chance that someone has one of these in their spare components box, this is what it looks like!

I think that the PCB is common to both the moving coil and moving magnet versions, so l MIGHT be able to repopulate the board of any module to suit the new cartridge; perhaps someone here has knowledge of this?

Plan B might be to acquire an external MC stage as a temporary or permanent measure. Some of the better designs use parallel arrays of transistors to get low noise matched to the very ow source impedances involved and wouldn't fit on that size board. so this could even be a better solution.

There's a new listing for one on eBay!
