Default Renovation of casing, Invicta 15.

Hello all. I was donated this lovely Invicta 15. The EZ40 valve isn’t great and I will order replacement capacitors, whilst I wait for eBay etc. I need to address the laminate. Do I strip the nitrocellulose off with acetone and glue down any sections that lift off? What do I then treat the poplar with and finally do I cover with any type of varnish? Thanks for your advice, have a great weekend.
