Definitely restorable, needs a mains transformer smoothing cap two EL84'S and an ECC83 or similar. Possibly an EZ80/81. Check the output transformer first.

I assume the missing item next to the switch was a neon indicator, but what was the larger hole with four screw holes for? Volume control perhaps?
I wonder if it was a PA amplifier. |

I wonder if the 4-bolt-hole big circular space could have previously housed one of the multi-way Bulgin connectors and have been used to feed HT/LT/audio lines to a separate tuner or preamp?

It looks early-mid 60s with strong Selmer hallmarks in there. At one point I owned a dozen Selmer 'Treble n Bass 50' amps and eventually restored them all before letting them go. The chassis shown is not a T n B 50, but the build style and components are there in abundance.

@ stevehertz, Yea, you are definitely correct, it is an old British guitar amplifier made by Selmer called a Truvoice, You know your stuff for sure sir. @RadioWrangler, LOL, can you help me go 5-1 surround sound ?

Well, first you'll need a guitar with 5 pick-ups...
I thought it was an RSC guitar amp. Came in EL64 and EL34 guises. David
