Default Clock radio, in Bygone Times, Chorley

I don't know if this is of interest to any one, I just thought it looked interesting.

The set seems complete, but I couldn't get any inside pictures without taking the back off.

Cheers,

Buzby

Did you notice how much they wanted for it? The prices wanted there are sometimes rather fanciful

Not a chance. £30 maybe. Standard antique shop pricing though.

Wow, I had expected, maybe, £75 but I think the seller will have it on his hands for a long time at that price.

I am quite glad really as I have vowed to buy no more AM only sets.

A lot of people seems to think that any old 'vintage radio' is worth quite a bit of money. Truth is, a lot of sets you can't even give away, and others are only worth a tenner or so. The Goblin is obviously worth more than that, but not a lot.
