Default Sony SL-T9 no colour.

Hi All

I am new here
My device is working Sony SL-T9 but there are no colors only black and white

Did you try playing tapes recorded in PAL as well as SECAM? Since it's a multi system machine, the Chroma circuit can be a bit complicated.

Hi.

No I do not have any SECAM Tape just PAL and tried many Tapes also same, before storing it many years back it was working fine.

Can you take high-res pictures of the AV-2 and YC-16 boards? I haven't worked on this model before but I'm assuming there will be an AFC adjustment somewhere...

I tried the AFC but no luck, its on AV-2 Board , any other choice ?

If you have a capacitance and an ESR meter, check all the capacitors in the luminance and chroma boards and verify that the power supply voltages are correct. Also, try to find a SECAM tape or record a new one, if possible and see if the colour is OK in SECAM. You can download the schematics here:
