Dial "B" for Britain BBC4 10-50pm!
Following on from the recent Forum discussion about the proposal to use Landlines ONLY as a digital carrier and dispense with the ability to make a phone call, this repeat of a 2017 Time Shift Documentary ["the story of the Landline"] is well "timed" and got a good response the first time around. It's preceded [at 9pm] by The Conversation [1974] which includes a lot of vintage recording gear and [at 8pm] Sound of Musicals 1/3. As the Radio Times says, you don't need to be interested in musicals to marvel as Neil Brand demonstrates how popular songs have their effect!

Thanks for that "The Conversation" I'll be watching that again, one of my favourite Hackman films.

Dial "B" is a lovely watch, combined with Victoria Corens voice as the narrator makes it perfect. I can't find a technological blunder anywhere, one of those things I watch every now and again (I have it on my server, thanks Get_Iplayer).
