My father put a demister on the rear window of his 1967 Viva. It was simply a sheet of flexible clear plastic with a rubber seal round the edge that stuck to the glass. The idea was to convert the window to double glazing so the insulating effect would keep the inside from steaming up.

My gosh,i remember the aerials and that stickon demister also blue spray that made the glass one way! Used that on a company car and let me say they were not impressed.Also remember Halfords selling bolton engines for ones push bike that rapidly took the tread off the tyre.
