Re: Fishing Tackle bag, lots of component trays - Lidl
They are fab for components. I have two. Mostly for many various crimp terminals I use and sometimes need to take with me. Sometimes it's a bit tight to get the top tray in and out. And of course a pain if the tray you want is the one at the bottom. I may well go and get another for the terminals I don't carry currently. Front pocket is great for tape, crimp tools, and deblocking tools too. they were cheaper than that when I bought them a good few years ago, but probably still good value.
EDIT: looking at your photos they are subtly different to mine. Perhaps to adress one of my issues. The photos here show the trays slotted in vertically, mine stack. Or maybe I've just been using t wrong all along? |

Two of the large trays are horizontal below the top 4 vertical trays.

Now that looks like a good idea. I don't like components stored in those shelving compartment units on the walls, so something like this would help keep things nice and tidy.

Well if you want one, better get down to your local branch. Don't bother with Uttoxeter, there was only one left, now none.

Plenty of them at Chichester. I was going to get one but when I saw them today I thought they were too bulky for my component storage purposes, due to the side and front pockets, good for fishing tackle though.

Re: Fishing Tackle bag, lots of component trays - Lidl
I popped into Lidl yesterday on my way back from getting a tin of paint for the DIY. They had quite a few bags left, so I got myself one.
At home I basically have a study, with a computer desk and a table for my electronics work, so I don't want those steel units with drawers on the walls there. So currently my components are stored in the packaging they come in, all inside a box. I only keep in stock what I've ordered, rather than ordering an entire range of resistors ect, so this looks like a very handy and tidy way of storing components.

I asked for it to be reopened, as these very useful bags are back in stock again. Had plenty in Uttoxeter this morning so I availed myself of another. Still the same £24.99
