Default B&O AV9000 Contrast Screen

Hello!

I am hoping there are some Bang & Olufsen buffs on here who can help with a vintage 90's set - the iconic AV9000.

I recently picked one up, allegedly in working condition, but it's filthy and I've not dared turn it on before at least giving it a clean and dust.

I'd like to take off the contrast screen to clean but cannot work out how you release it.

When you take the back off the TV there are 2 screws that release the locks on the bottom of the screen. But there are 2 points at the top which you cannot get to as the section is recessed and sealed by a plastic cover with no noticeable screws. My guess is it is clipped on. But it is a pure guess.

You can remove the whole section (contrast screen and curtain mechanism) but only to a point as the infra red senor on the top is connected by wires.

Can anyone help?

I'm sure I'll be missing something obvious.

Cheers,

Adam
