Hewlett Packard 203A Variable Phase Signal Generator
Basically I am need of some expertise to help diagnose and restore my HP 203A to working order. I bought this item to help test out my IRD balancing instrumentation and then calibrate it but it has been a while since I last used it and when I got it up and going recently, to see how it was fairing, there were some problems with the signal output according to my oscilloscope. It was always a little tweaky on the variable phase but generally settled down enough for calibration purposes. I have an original manual but needless to say lack the electronics expertise to know how to go about the full diagnostics procedure and equally what can be done if there are any failing components. I'm not afraid to have a go but some guidance is needed or there may be someone out there who has dealt with restoring one of these units. Any ideas gratefully received.
