Hi

Thanks for that Paul.

Some bargains there, I was going but my car developed a gas leak (LPG converted) the day before .

You should have Josh. It was a very nice example and sold way too cheaply.

As did the HMV1124 at £5 - that was in excellent condition.

There seems to be one at every auction so at the next one I WILL bid. I didn't see a picture of the 381 push button set (but I did see a McMichael style push button set) which went for £10 . Neither did I see the McMichael Dimic 3 from 1929- £50, what a song. 151 -£5, and as for the Superhet Mains Transportable which sold for £45, £5 more than I bid.... Still, at least some-one donated a nice early 30s McMichael Duplex five to me the other day . Josh.

Although some prices look too cheap, in general they are more realistically priced than certain Internet Auction sites!

Indeed - and no postage/packing costs or risks. The only drawback is that you have to attend on the day.

Jon got the countryman (actually a townsman), so it's gone to a good home. http://www.thevalvepage.com/tv/baird...n/townsman.htm. He was bidding against a well-known dealer.
