Default KB Radios for sale

A COLLECTION OF VINTAGE KOLSTER BRANDES RADIOS FOR SALE.

Below is a link to items from the KB Museum that are offered for sale, marked with their price.
Most of these items have been restored to working, I will check each one and advise before you buy it.
In all cases arrangements must be made for personal collection from Basildon Essex, FCS, or collection from Harpenden or NVCF.

Items are included which are NOT for sale, in order to save you asking if they are for sale.

http://www.kbmuseum.org.uk/vintage_k...s_for_sale.htm

Thanks
Mike

If you ever decide shipping is an option, Mike, I've been keeping an eye out for a KB AR21 battery set for some time. One of these was my first radio at about age 6.

I dont recall having any communication from you in the last few days. When was this please can you send again, use the address to be found on my web site.

I did reply to your last post here by emailing via the forum.
I have said "In all cases arrangements must be made for personal collection from Basildon Essex, FCS, or collection from Harpenden or NVCF and maybe the Audio Jumble.

When I say personal collection, to be clearer I do not have packing facilities for the larger wooden radios so sending a courier is not going to work unless the courier can supply the packing materials and boxes and undertake to do the packing.

Hi Mike - I'd like the 1951 KB FP151 - I've been after one for a few years! I can collect from NVCF or perhaps get some help from the FCS. I do sometimes visit friends in Wivenhoe, but haven't anything arranged as yet.
Cheers
Andy

As Mike posted elsewhere, he can bring sets to my get-together on Nov 14th. I can act as a staging post for onward carriage by me to Royal Wootton Bassett, or I can hold items at GU25 for collection if required.

Hi Jeremy
Thanks for offering to act as a staging post.

The radios requested so far are;
KB KR021 Cobra with all the pirate stations marked on the dial
ITT-KB Tiny Super grey
ITT-KB Tiny Super wood
Regentone TR415
KB WP31 Calypso
KB KB FP151
KB KB 444

It would be great if a few more of the nice larger wooden ones could go, and as I have said they have nearly all been restored to working.
So there is no risk of buying a radio and finding expensive faults like the transformers are open circuit.

Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike,

Gus 'Westcliff' has very kindly offered to get the AR21 up to Edinburgh, so I'd like to buy it, please.

OK great, thanks Gus.
David as it is now going to you I will prioritise and get a web page completed for this radio.
In the meantime you can see some more photos of my radio on the Radio Museum page. https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/kolsterbr_ar21.html

Hi Mike, I am interested in the FB10 Magic midgt MW/LW. Is it still available?
However I will have to ask on the FSC if there is some way to get it up to Greater Manchester.

OK Dave, I have pencilled your name in for that one.

Someone PLEASE take some of the larger sets to give me some room to move.
Its all very well these smaller ones going, but its the larger ones I really want to find new homes for.

Mike
