A minor correction/additional information. The business was up by Samuel an Iris Korobuk as S Korobuk Ltd; he established Modern Techniques Ltd as his manufacturing arm from which comes the 'Motek' tape deck name - he only supplied to the trade.

Sam later decided to market his own complete tape-recorder using his improved Motek deck, designed by Eric Moore (the K.10) under a new 'Robuk' brand name, derived from Korobuk, operating as Robuk Electrical Industries Ltd in works backing onto his Motek factory. A certain, young Alan Sugar was, briefly, a salesman there!
