Hi Peter,
there's no doubt the HT decoupling can be improved. I do have some 0.01uF mica capacitors. One or two can be added to the oscillator HT supply.
The grid resistor was checked not long ago and found to be in tolerance. Tested the same component this evening and found the value has risen to 36Kohms. Will replace the resistor tomorrow and report back my findings.
