Default Autochanger velocity trip

I have been struggling with a BSR UA14 autochanger to stop the trip mechanism putting too much backwards pressure on the arm as it begins to engage with it as described here https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...ead.php?t=8936.

I followed all the advice about not lubricating the trip pawl and assumed that the problem was with the levers underneath the deck but I could not stop records from sticking near the end.

Eventually I re-read the explanation and realised that I had not lubricated the fulcrum upon which the lever pivots. Of course this meant that the arm could not easily push the lever across as it neared the end of the record. Lubricating the pivot has made it work properly again.

The solution may be obvious to all but me but in case there is anyone else struggling with this, don't forget to lubricate that fulcrum.
