Indeed. We live nine miles (straight line) from the Pacific Ocean at 900 feet above sea level. My work area is in the 3rd garage in our house. I own an environmental consulting company and inspect buildings and land. I sometimes wonder how people in my business deal with snow and ice. Farmers in California can often grow three crops per year.
