Thumbs up {PSU + Amp} teach a man to fish...

before I start a Big thank`s go to everyone here that have helped me learn as much as I have about Valves, and moreover how to use them Propperly and Why they are used the way they are, in particular ajs derby and Paul Sherwin for their patience and willingness to help me understand.
now with that out of the way, I`v employed much of what I`v learned thus far, and built an Amp module and PSU.
the PSU I made a little while ago as it`s a good place to start when experimenting with valves (you need Something to fire `em up with right?).
it uses a transformer taken out op a scrap Cossor MM 520 and a GZ34, and few resistors I had to buy and some along with the caps that I already had here, Pictures bellow:

the Amp is only a basic one, using a #76 triode and an 807 as the output to drive a cossor 520 audio transformer (yes the same one the transformer came out of).
I cut the chassis with an Eclipse 2000 (there`s a thread on that too), and a step drill bit.
this is all driving a 1930`s/40`s external speaker and it`s driving it Fully without distortion, I`m more than partly deaf and it gets Very loud even for me, so in Normal use it`s as good as any radio speaker driver (which is what I want).
I`v had experience with TRF, Crystal sets, and Regen radios, so the beauty of this being a Modular system, is that the Radio part(s) will be fully interchangable.
my Plan is to Design and build my own valve radio, and Ultimately a Superhet (so yes, there Will be a load more questions from me in Future).
I know little to Nothing about IF and stages etc... only how to align them, but that`s not enough for me, I want to know Why I do what I`m doing when I repair a radio and What it is I`m actually doing.
I think making a Modular system, akin to the Block Diagrams of radio systems is the way to go, I have no interest in just Copying a circuit.
so now I have a way to fire up the "thing" and a way to hear whatever dreadfull noises I`ll inevitably make along the way as well!
