Incidentally the Tele 250 always feeds battery out to line even on 'auto' !
There seem to be quite a few non-GPO/PO/BT variants of the Tele 704 style including ones without provision for the dial. I had one that I sold a couple of years ago and there is
one on eBay at the moment
