I have made a new, completely over the top, power supply for my Magneta master clock which runs a few dials over the house too. The supply did develop a fault soon after introducing it, see

Now working well, the meters are top to bottom...
Various voltages, Hipp supply (5V), dial supply (15V), sync/system/battery at 21V and the input to the regulators (about 33V).
Fast/Slow meter, using MSF and the one minute pulses from the 60 second wheel.
Various currents, 5, 15 and 21V plus battery which is a centre zero.
Below is the three 6V sealed lead acid batteries for backup, float charged at 21V with switch and fuse, I put negative to the switch body so I can measure the battery voltage to the fuse.
The synchroniser is pulsed (again from MSF) at 8 and 2 am/pm to reset the 30 second pulse wheel, this is done twice with a six second gap to stop the +/- one second error a single pulse can give to a synchroniser depending upon which way it is corrected.
All jolly good fun, very OTT and very pretty.
