Hi Wendy,
My guess would be that it came out of a mobilephone base station installation, possibly the antenna diplexer filter to separate transmit from receive with single antenna working. The big connector (DIN7/16 type) would be the antenna connection, SMA the receiver and the N type the transmitter. Probably tuned around 800/900Mhz.
