Further to this, if you do contemplate offering equipment please bear in mind the practicalities of transport. Good protection for smaller items is not too difficult, but a larger (and fragile) thing like an oscilloscope is a significant challenge. It's sometimes possible to arrange transport by volunteer fellow enthusiasts who appreciate the difficulties.
