The set in question is a late 60s/early 70s Transistor Table radiogram, using the Thorn '78' series chassis. I have a manual for a later Thorn(Ferguson)
Music Centre, but this uses Varicap tuning for the VHF Band, whereas the Ultra 64574 has a conventional mechanical tuner. I don't know if the model
is covered by anything available from VRSD, sine the number doesn't appear in the lists.

Since posting the above, I have found that the T.C.E.(Thorn) 78 chassis is covered in some detail in the 1973-74 volume of 'Radio & Television Servicing' (pp761
-769 inclusive) As this gives me all the information I need, this thread can now be closed.
