Really evocative picture. Looks a busy shop and those aerials! The 'H' appears to date from the opening of Holme Moss.

That up to date picture of the Estate Agents looks cold and clinical. Nothing much going on, no traffic, hence no trade. There were many shops in London very similar to this, quite a few owned by my mates in the trade.

Neon signs! Lovely but the EHT transformers could catch fire..All part of the excitement of the period. The lady in the head scarf is so typical of the times.
