Hi,
A very interesting and informative post, I have 2 of the 1330's here, which could probably benefit from some work. One had an E-W fault which was caused by a capacitor only being held in place by corrosion, it also has an odd way of switching off, when you hit the switch the picture disappears and it makes a quick 'pop pop pop' from the speaker along with a defocused blob flashing 3 times in time with the pop noises. Other than that it works very well. The second one is in an awful state after bad storage, the fablon type stuff is all peeling away, and someone has replaced the aerial connector panel with one that doesn't fit and is hanging by its wiring out of the back of the set. Despite this it still gives a good picture! Maybe I'll treat it to some real wood veneer, or if I'm feeling lazy just a coat of paint!
