Good and reliable but the few examples that were brought in for service had been badly attacked by woodworm on the sides and bottom. They were only a few years old so I suspect the wood was infested before the cabinet was assembled.

I see a nice mains filter cap and the on/off switches were one of the very few stock faults.

My mate worked for Comet at the time and I remember him telling me they had to clean up the dust before the customer discovered it...John.
