Assumptions like this, "up is on so we make it so" do get my goat. I do wonder if I would have thought of that (double sided logo washer) if designing the thing, I hope so. All our MCBs (UK consumer unit breakers) go up for on and half of my two way light switches do the same. We can adapt but the choice would be nice to have.
