If these are domestic machines from the 60s, they're unlikely to be worth much so you shouldn't get your hopes up. People do collect such machines but supply exceeds demand.
If they are domestic hifi recorders from the 70s there will be more interest, but they still won't be worth a fortune.
Recorders are only worth real money nowadays if they are semipro machines from the Japanese big boys or people like Ferrograph or Revox. Even then condition is very important. I guess you will know if your parents were into high end tape recording.
As Bill says, a few photos will enable forum members to give you an honest assessment. There are some real tape recorder experts here.
