I dont know why they didn't choose to take up any of the available domain names, I guess because none of the new product ranges are branded as Cossor as far as I can tell its just legacy equipment.
It's funny we get a lot of Spam at work I guess this one is so well known amongst IT specialists it doesn't get past SPAM filters.
Indeed Email from friends and contacts ending in .cn is often blocked and I have to request exceptions. (Thank goodness for WeChat).

I suspect Raytheon not picking up the cossor domain is mostly competence related. They did a transition to Lotus Notes and Raytheon.co.uk and probably just forgot to renew the old domain. I know the people who were involved in maintaining it and it was one of my motivations to leave in the end
Oh that and Six Sigma and the fact the place was a kafkaesque nightmare worthy of mention in Dilbert!
I imagine you get many interesting emails! Probably lots of mailing lists I forgot to remove my subscription for before I left
