Thank you for the interesting reply.

I had no idea that chips like this were being made in the UK at the time or about Emihus. I had guessed it was probably made by one of the major American manufacturers. It is a shame the IC was not marked. It probably explains why data on the IC is hard to find, unlike other similar clock chips of the era.

I like the combination of Hughes Aircraft Corp and EMI.
