P.S.: I have found the service manual (on 255 pages) for Philips VR969. While doing a checking for error in service mode I have got the following message: 04 ERR04 value 053. According to service manual ERR04 reads "no impluse in left reel" and 053 means while in playing mode. So the main question is now what does "no impluse in left reel" means?

I would especially grateful if VHS Doctor or somebody else with Philips repairing expirience answers this question, or at least tells me what should better to do next.
