Well, when there's an outbreak of normality, you can have a summer holiday doing some sleuthing, Peter.
With the frequency range of the receiver, it had to have been first sold in the London coverage area, so you seem to have solved how it wound up in Cornwall. I guess you still need to find that antique dealer's name to get his father's name and then search London records.
