From what I have seen a working R1155 with a power supply, although not necessarily worth a fortune, can be quite sought after.
It's true there a better receivers of the same vintage but with it's ww2 and Lancaster bomber connections, as ebay sellers are keen to exploit, I'm sure you will have no trouble finding a new home for it.
Perhaps you could post a few photos of the receiver and psu and you will get a bit more advice.
If you have to build you own power supply from scratch, and many come wiithout, you won't get much change out of £100.00 unless you have some parts in the workshop.
The better the cosmetic condition and the less it's been got at add to it's interest.
Not to forget how well the psu was put together.
