Hello Tom,

It is horribly confusing trying to establish when and where radios were built in the Soviet Union ! I have looked up my 1980 Vega Tento catalogue here and the B212 is indeed in it. I have two B215s with Mashpriborintorg logos so were built before 1979 and as the B210/B212s which still have several germanium transistors were definitely built before them I can only suggest that the B212s were in stock at TOE for a very long time.

In the same catalogue are the Vega 402 and later Vega 404 and the former was originally introduced in 1971, nine years before that catalogue was printed.
