I have a Mister Crybaby wah wah unit which over the years developed a very noisy pot on the foot control. I replaced the track inside the original successfully, but I found the original measured very much higher than it's marked value. The control was fantastic as original but lacked somewhat when repaired as the range of control did not seem as great.
