Hi Ian, thanks for the response. Battery access is on the top of the meter and the Data Plate is a thin metal plate like the earlier ones. The address on the plate is Dover and it says "A Member of the Thorn Group" and Model 8. I now cannot remember when I obtained this it's so long ago but I've always believed it to be a MK III.
