Just found my 339 and it is marked M.E (R) in paint, so looks like a refurb at some time.
Both crt,s just look grey and the same. The 339 is missing an on/off switch and something is missing beneath the switch too. Possibly need to check the A and see if the front panel is similar.
The A cabinet is in crackle black and the 339 is grey, that looks original but not sure about the A model.
